It truly does feel like the game was made to be unnecessarily inconveniencing.īecause you can't earn in game currency when offline - It needs to sync with the cloud, plain and simple. And it's not like there's no conceivable way to make it so you can be rewarded for progress upon going online again. And even without the gold, what point is there in disallowing campaign progression? Considering local storage is administered in some way, it's not an impossibility. Whether or not someone has access to offline gold or offline cards. That's all swell and good, but see the game will be modified anyway. If they made access to new cards while offline possible, that would instantly result in people modifying files to give themselves all the new cards so it only makes sense to keep it server-side. The point of tutorials offline is obvious as a refresher if needed but again it makes sense that is the purpose and you would need to be online if you wanted the gold. ![]() Doing the campaign offline would be silly at present since you would not be able to earn the gold, but if you want to play it just for fun offline you can so that is the point there.
